I’m a Doctor of Pharmacy and educator focused on making complex pharmacy and pharmacology concepts easier to understand.
I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and have more than six years of tutoring experience, including working with pharmacy graduates preparing for the NAPLEX. Over the years, I’ve worked with students with different strengths, challenges, and ways of learning, and those experiences have shaped the way I teach today.
My philosophy is simple: understanding comes before memorization.
Pharmacology can feel overwhelming because there is so much information competing for your attention at once. My job is to help you cut through the noise, understand how the concepts connect, and build a framework you can actually use when working through questions or real clinical scenarios.
I don’t want you to memorize your way to the right answer. I want you to understand how to get there. That means learning how to recognize what matters, reason through the information in front of you, and apply what you know with confidence.
Every student processes information differently, so I don’t teach every student the same way. I adjust how we work through a concept based on what helps it click for you, whether that means breaking it down visually, talking it through, or applying it step by step. The goal is not just to cover the material. It is to help you truly understand it.
Who I work with
While NAPLEX preparation is a major part of my work, I also tutor pharmacy, nursing, and other healthcare students who want to strengthen their understanding of pharmacology and medication therapy.
Whether you’re preparing for an important exam, struggling with a difficult subject, or trying to feel more confident applying what you’ve learned, I’m here to help you make sense of the material and approach it with greater clarity and confidence.
